Requirements

Skills and personality needed:
-Able to work independently
-Patient
-Communication skills
-Good with people

Education and Training needed:
-At least 3 years of studies at university including chemistry, biology, physics, math, and English or 4-year Bachelors of Science degree
-pass Optometry Admission Test
-Optometry program to recieve a Doctor of Optometry degree
             Schools in Canada that offer an Optometry program:
                -University of Waterloo
                -Universite de Montreal

Other qualifications:

-Business training is helpful

-License to practice in province
